You don’t have to have magical powers to be powerful. You don’t have to be the chosen one to change the world. One of my favorite things about Avatar the last Airbender is that the creators gave us strong, complex characters who are as skilled and strong as they choose to be. They can go head to head with the Benders and even prevail. Here is to you Suki, Ty Lee, Mai, Sokka and Jet!
